Master Teachers, Teachers, and Teaching Associates Work under the Director of AIDC Daycare and lead children ages 3 months to 13 years through the daily curriculum. Must be willing to work with parent intervention and under principles fostering independence, teamwork and creativity. Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate degree in early childhood or human/child development or a related field. Infant child CPR certified a plus.
Teaching Assistants Part and full-time position. Assist Teachers in child program curriculum including indoor/outdoor large motor activities, arts and crafts, music, dance, reading, and group play. High Scool Diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years of age and completion of a 30 hour course in child development approved by the Child Care Services Division, or one higher education course (minimum 3 credits) in early childhood development to be successfully completed within one year of employment..
Trainees Trainees are wanted to assist Teachers with the daily curriculum of indoor/outdoor large motor activities, arts and crafts, music, dance, reading, and group play. At least 17 years of age and enrolled in or graduated from a human services program that emphasizes child development at a technical center by the State Board of Education.
Internships AIDC Daycare provides internships for students seeking hand-on experience in the child care industry. Proof of a solid commitment to learning about the industry is required. Interns will assist all staff members in maintenance, activities, adn administrative duties.
